Honda FK2 Civic Type R Chassis Strengthening

The guys at the SUPERCIRCUIT Chassis Strengthening Bars Division have developed a very comprehensive chassis strengthening products for the Honda Civic FK2 Type-R (FK2R), to improve the handling and maneuvering of the vehicle to cater for various kind of driving situations and road conditions, namely the Front Strut Bar, Front Under Bar, Front Lower Brace, Front Lower Bars [PAIR], Mid Chassis Brace, Rear Under Bar and Rear Anti-roll Bar.

<FRONT STRUT BAR>

The SUPERCIRCUIT front strut bar is designed to reinforce at the area where the two front suspension top are mounted to the front chassis of the Honda Civic FK2R, to strengthen the front upper chassis and to minimize front chassis flex.

The plastic covers at both sides have to be removed (as shown in the below pictures), in order to access to the bolts at the top of the front suspension mounts for the installation of the SUPERCIRCUIT Front Strut Bar.

The MATTE BLACK heavy duty industrial grade coating is not only stylish and looks elegant at the engine bay of the Honda Civic FK2R, it also helps in minimizing front upper chassis flex for a more accurate maneuvering and sharper steering response.

<FRONT LOWER BRACE>

While the front upper chassis is strengthened with the SUPERCIRCUIT FRONT STRUT BAR above, the front lower chassis is further reinforced with the SUPERCIRCUIT FRONT LOWER BRACE as shown in the picture below.

The 4-point design of the SUPERCIRCUIT Front Lower Brace ensures torsional rigidity and hold the Honda Civic FK2R's front wheels alignment in position, hence a more accurate and accurate steering direction.

<MID CHASSIS BRACE>

The SUPERCIRCUIT Mid Chassis Brace is developed to strengthen the middle part of the Honda Civic FK2R's chassis, to minimize mid chassis flex for better maneuvering and a more stable handling while negotiating sharp corners.

<REAR UNDER BAR>

The SUPERCIRCUIT Rear Under Bar is designed to mount at the very end of the Honda Civic FK2R's chassis as shown in the below pictures, so the rear chassis is reinforced to minimize the rear-end swaying or fish tailing effect especially exiting high speed corners, overtaking or sudden maneuvering.

<REAR ANTI-ROLL BAR>

The SUPERCIRCUIT Rear Anti-roll Bar is mounted transversely across the rear torsion beam solid axle of the Honda Civic FK2R, as shown in the pictures below, to improve the rigidity and torsional strength of the axle.

During cornering, as the outer suspension moves upwards and the inner suspension move downwards, the anti-roll bar comes into action in resisting the body rolling effect for a more controlled and stabled cornering action!

The brackets of the SUPERCIRCUIT Honda Civic FK2R Rear Anti-roll Bar which are mounted at where the bottom part of the rear springs sit, are made from thick steel material and laser cut, then machine v-bent to shape. It is structural strong and robust!

Made with solid 19mm high performance spring steel material, the SUPERCIRCUIT rear anti-roll bar made for the Honda Civic FK2R is robust and durable. The spring effect of the material provides excellent anti-roll effect and helps to bring the car back to level after exiting corners in lesser time.
