Proton X70 CBU Chassis Strengthening Bars & Braces

Here at the SUPERCIRCUIT's installation bays, we have just strengthened yet another Proton X70 with our signature MATTE BLACK chassis strengthening bars and braces, to improve the handling and maneuvering of the SUV below.

<FRONT STRUT BAR>

The SUPERCIRCUIT Front Strut Bar, which is designed to strengthen the area where the two front suspension top are mounted to the front chassis of the Proton X70 (CBU), to strengthen the front upper chassis and to minimize front chassis flex.

While the SUPERCIRCUIT Front Strut Bar above strengthens the front upper chassis and hold the upper part of the front suspensions, the SUPERCIRCUIT Front Under Brace and Front Lower Brace shown in the picture below reinforces the front lower chassis of the Proton X70 (CBU), for lesser front chassis flex and hold the front wheels' alignment in geometry for a sharper steering and accurate maneuvering.

<FRONT UNDER BRACE>

The SUPERCIRCUIT Front Under Brace is designed to mount at the over hang of the Proton X70 (CBU) chassis, under the engine to be exact, to minimize the flex of the very front part of the chassis, which is subject not only to the weight of the engine, also from the road surface while travelling on uneven surfaces.

<FRONT LOWER BRACE>

The SUPERCIRCUIT Front Lower Brace shown in the pictures below is located at the rear of the front sub-frame, further reinforcing the front lower part of the Proton X70 (CBU) chassis as well as the front sub-frame which is carrying the load from the front suspensions, to further minimize the front lower chassis flex and hold the front wheels alignment better for accurate steering!

The rear lower chassis of the Proton X70 (CBU) is strengthened for a more stabled and controlled cornering, therefore the SUPERCIRCUIT Rear Lower Bar and Rear Under Bar comes into the picture.

Both the Rear Lower Bar and Rear Under Bar shown above are designed to strengthen the rear lower chassis of the Proton X70 (CBU) to minimize the rear-end swaying or fish tailing effect especially exiting high speed corners, overtaking or sudden maneuvering when the rear end tends to swing out due to inertia forces.

<REAR LOWER BAR>

The SUPERCIRCUIT Rear Lower Bar is designed to strengthen the forward section of the rear sub-frame, allowing the rear suspension system to take up more load during cornering without flexing too much of the rear chassis. Hence a firmer rear-end and lesser rear-end fish-tailing effect when driving out of corners or during dodging obstacles.

<REAR UNDER BAR>

The SUPERCIRCUIT Rear Under Bar is designed to strengthen the rear section of the Proton X70 (CBU)'s rear sub-frame, but since it is located further rearward, we called it the 'Rear Under Bar'.

Proton X70 (CBU) Front Chassis Strengthening

The results of strengthening the front chassis bring great advantages to the steering and handling of the Proton X70.

We have supplied and installed the SUPERCIRCUIT Front Strut Bar and Front Lower Brace to the Proton X70 (CBU version) below, to improve the steering and maneuvering of this SUV.

Firstly, the SUPERCIRCUIT Front Strut Bar is installed to the front upper chassis of the Proton X70 in the picture below.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Front Strut Bar is designed for 100% compatible with the original Proton X70 engine cover, no cut or mod is required during the installation.
