Honda Civic FD Chassis Strengtening Solutions

The 2005-2012 8th generation Honda Civic (FD) with the SUPERCIRCUIT Chassis Strengthening Bars installed to improve the handling and maneuverability of the vehicle under various kind of driving conditions and situations, namely the SUPERCIRCUIT FRONT STRUT BAR, FRONT LOWER BRACE and REAR LOWER BRACE.


<FRONT STRUT BAR>
The SUPERCIRCUIT Front Strut Bar is designed to strengthen the front upper chassis of the vehicle, minimize front chassis flex for a more accurate steering and precised maneuvering, especially important for the front wheel drive models like the 8th generation Honda Civic FD shown below.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Front Strut Bar is mounted onto where the top of the front suspension seats and across to the other suspension top of the 8th gen. Honda Civic FD, to strengthen the front upper chassis and allowing it to take up more load and still maintaining the front upper chassis from over flexing, hence better and more accurate steering direction.

The lower front windscreen plastic cover is back in place, after the SUPERCIRCUIT FRONT STRUT BAR is installed, for a very neat and tidy engine bay.

<FRONT LOWER BRACE>
The SUPERCIRCUIT FRONT LOWER BRACE is specially designed for the Honda Civic FD, to strengthen the front lower part of the chassis.

Both the SUPERCIRCUIT FRONT LOWER BRACE and FRONT STRUT BAR holds the front chassis in position for a more accurate front wheels alignment, hence sharper steering and a more accurate maneuvering.

<REAR LOWER BRACE>
The SUPERCIRCUIT REAR LOWER BRACE is designed to strengthen and reinforce the area where the rear lower suspension arms are mounted to the rear Honda Civic FD's chassis as shown in the picture here, to minimize rear chassis flex.


The 4-point SUPERCIRCUIT REAR LOWER BRACE is designed to mount the locations where the rear lower suspension arms are mounted to the vehicle's chassis, allowing the rear chassis of the Honda Civic FD to maintain in better geometry in both lateral and longitudinal directions.

Minimizing rear chassis flex is crucial to the handling of the vehicle, especially during high speed cornering, obstacle avoidance or during over taking, to maintain the rear chassis from 'fish-tailing' and increase the agility of the vehicle.
